Viper Robotics

Cyber Viper Robotics - first competition

The competition was in Calabasas at a private high school called Viewpoint High School. There were 80 matches in total. Out of the five matches we participated in, we won 3, lost 1, and tied 1. By the end of all of the matches, we were in 15th place and, after higher ranking teams created alliances with other teams, we moved up in the rankings to number 8. We were eligible to partake in the quarter finals with two other allies that we got to choose. Without enough practice and knowledge of what would go wrong with the robot, we didn't make it farther than the semi-finals. Hopefully for the next upcoming competition in November, we'll be able to make it to the finals. Go, Vipers!!!

Competition at Holmes Middle School

In the competition on 02/13/2016, both teams put up a valiant fight for their final competition, making it to the quarter finals before losing. The teams, however, impressed the judges and earned The Energy Award, The Good Sportsmanship Award, and The Think Award for multi-platform programming skills. The team did well in their competition and, overall, showed their skill and Viper spirit throughout the event.
